Make it possible to add a custom React Native / React web plugin via a GitHub repository, so that the plugin also tells Composer the view components / flow functions / required build service settings it provides.

Dear community,
We know that many of you are eagerly waiting for the release of 3rd-party/custom plugins. For the past two years, we have been working hard to get this groundbreaking feature out of the door – to give context, there is to our knowledge no other team in the world making it possible to include React Native plugins (that contain native iOS and Android code) dynamically and programmatically during build time.
Although we have made significant progress, the problem space has proven to be more complex than anticipated. We've also kept the bar high when it comes to tooling, security and other aspects.
In short, we want to ship a fantastic feature, and that is taking time.
This means that it will not be possible to release the 3rd party plugins feature by Q3 of this year, i.e., by the end of September. We do not want to push out a broken feature, so we are taking a bit longer to get to something we are truly proud to present.
We strive for continued transparency with our users, and will provide more information as soon as possible.
Thank you for understanding.

Kirill Leventcov: I appreciate the team being blunt about it.
I saw that coming with how Mevi's "monthly update" thread for last month in no way hyped the fact it was estimated for release
at the end of this month, but was rather neutral on it altogether.
Better to be right straight out of the gate than to take chances with security flaws and the like that come with such an experimental functions.

Kirill Leventcov: Delays happen. Appreciate the heads up, but it would be nice to also have a new tentative date to look forward to.
Please also share progress updates if any towards video features. All the best for the development work and Thanks :)

Kirill Leventcov: Relax, don't do this implementation under pressure, if there's still something missing, it's better to finish.

Kirill Leventcov: It's the law of coding, everything takes twice as long and costs twice as much...new eta?
D
Dominik Greene
Benjamin Bowden: Twice as long as they initially suggested -- i.e. end of Q4???
(It was about three months ago that they suggested the end of this month.)

Kirill Leventcov: This would be a killer feature.

Would this enable the addition of 3rd party SDK's into AppGyver builds?
If so, I agree that this would be a great addition!

Kirill Leventcov: we are now close to the end of Q3: do you think we could hope to see this feature implemented by the end of September? Thanks a lot for any information you share with us!
